York rivers trail: the rivers and us – following the Foss

Join us for a guided exploration of the River Foss and its role in shaping York’s past, present and future.

Starting on the York rivers trail and following part of the New Walk, participants will explore the Foss’s heritage, wildlife and role in climate resilience. Through guided conversation and creative engagement, the walk invites participants to reflect on the future of York’s rivers, communities and natural environment.

We will meet at Tower Gardens, near Clifford’s Tower.
