Future Eco Warriors seed the Rampart of York City Walls

The young visitors will:
• Be helped to identify what is growing on the rampart now
• Learn of the five-year programme to increase wildflowers by reducing soil nutrients
• The pollinator-friendly plants which will be growing in the future
• How the rampart will look in 7 and 70 years time
• The part they can play in bringing this about
They will cap this off by making their own seed pot out of newspaper and sowing a wildflower seed to take away as the beginning of their eco-warrior lives.
