Nature walk on University of York campus

Join us for a walk round one of the University’s two campuses – both have large lakes but with very different characters. These are some of the very best places for wildlife within the City of York. In early Autumn, some of the summer migrant birds may still be present at the same time as the winter migrants start arriving. It will also be a chance to learn what birds and flowers to look for at other times of year.

Please wear walking shoes/boots and bring binoculars if available.

We’re meeting at Field Lane, where the footpath to Heslington Church meets Field Lane (close to U1 and U2 bus stop).
