- YEFest 2026 – download the ‘Call for Events’ posterThe call for events is now live for YEFest 2026! Building on the success of previous years, the annual city-wide festival is back, running from Saturday 3rd October to Sunday 1st November. And we’re looking to spread the word! Organisers can submit their events to be part of York Environment Festival between now and the 31st July: past events have included everything from nature walks to film screenings to arts workshops. - A theme for York Environment Festival 2026In 2020, as York endured its first winter of the Covid-19 pandemic, York Environment Week was founded. What started as two-dozen events online has grown over the past six years into a month-long celebration of our city. Last year we became York Environment Festival. York Environment Forum
York Environment Festival (YEFest) is organised by York Environment Forum (YEF), the voice for the environment in York. Encompassing the natural and built environment, the Forum is a collection of local organisations striving to make York a more beautiful, sustainable place to live for all of its residents.
