Weedy Walk

A popular walk around Bishophill, looking at ‘weeds’ growing in untended and unintended places.
What are weeds? Unwelcome outsiders or resilient and adaptable organisms? Should we be concerned about the spraying of herbicides on our streets? What is their value to humans and insects?
We’ll have a slow short walk around Bishophill and get to know some of the plants and enjoy their interesting common names: fairy foxgloves anyone?
Booking is required for this event. To book please email laurapotts@phonecoop.coop
Suitable for ages 12+.
