The Friends of Rowntree Park is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to caring for and enhancing one of York’s most loved green spaces. We bring people together through volunteering, nature, community events and environmental projects.

From caring for wildlife habitats, planting for biodiversity and flood resilience, running educational activities, wellbeing sessions and conservation work, we’re passionate about helping people connect with nature while ensuring Rowntree Park continues to thrive for future generations.
