Anyone can submit an event for consideration to be part of the Festival. If you have an idea for something that will inspire, uplift and engage more people in York to protect local nature, increase biodiversity, reflect on their environmental impact and build a more sustainable city, we want to hear it!

How do I host a YEFest event?
Follow the steps below to host a York Environment Festival event. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Read the guidelines
To give you an idea of what kind of events we’re looking for, have a look at our guidelines page.
Please note that all events in the festival must be free and open to all to take part in the festival.

Fill in the form
When you have the details ready, fill in this application form to let us know what your event is about.
We reserve the right to moderate all events submitted to the festival, to ensure they meet our festival guidelines.

Promote your event!
When you’ve had the go-ahead that your event is approved, it’s time to start spreading the word!
If you promote your event on social media, don’t forget to tag us so we can support you.
