There will be lots of opportunity to stop and look for mushrooms in some key fungi hotspots\, and to ask any questions you may have. \nFor those who came last year\, this will be the exact same walk. However\, since nature is unpredictable\, we will likely spot some new species\, and there is always more to learn! \nSuitable for all ages. \nNo booking required. \nThe walk will begin at the east entrance to the biology department on the University of York campus\, Heslington\, YO10 (Coordinates: 53.947774\, -1.056132; What3Words: tigers.able.sunset) \n  \n

There will be lots of opportunity to stop and look for mushrooms in some key fungi hotspots. \nOur goal is to observe and learn about different species we find\, so we will not be picking any mushrooms. As a student completing my biology masters (focusing on mycology)\, feel free to ask me lots of questions! \nThe walks take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October from 12:00 – 15:00. We’ll be starting and finishing by the Biology Department\, University of York\, East entrance. \nNo booking required.
