SUMMARY:Plug Planting Millenium Field
DESCRIPTION:Come and help us to create a wildflower area at the southern end of Millennium Field. We will be planting wildflower plug plants into areas previously prepared\, so the ground should be nice and easy to dig. We will also be chatting about our Green Corridors York project and all about meadows. \nAnyone can get involved\, we will provide gloves and kneelers to those who require them. \nUnder 13s need to be accompanied by an adult and under 16s need parental consent if not accompanied by an adult. \nMeet at Millennium Bridge on the Fishergate side of the river.

DESCRIPTION:This is a mostly traffic-free bike ride at relaxed pace. Discover the Solar System route\, learn how the railway became a Greenway and visit the Riccall Wood Meadow. Assemble on the Butcher Terrace side of Millennium Bridge near gates to Rowntree Park. https://what3words.com/duty.paper.buzz \nBring a picnic or have lunch in one of Riccall’s cafes or pubs. This is an accessible\, traffic-free route suitable for families and all ages who are comfortable with 18 mile return journey. \nA short section in Riccall is on-road\, though riders may dismount. The route is suited for disability adapted cycles. \nNote: this is family-friendly but children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
