DESCRIPTION:See and hear our most common bat species which live and feed in the grounds of the university campus. \nThe walk is easy to moderate and suitable for wheelchair users and many with mobility issues. There are steps along the route but there are alternate ramps available. Experience edible gardening in an inner-city garden – at Peasholme Green. The beds are across the road from The Black Swan (as pictured above). \nThe Edible York team will talk to visitors about the garden. We aim to inspire more growing in gardens\, pots and window boxes. Our Abundance team will be on hand with local apples to try. \nFor all ages\, but children under 16 need an adult carer. No booking needed.
