DESCRIPTION:Join a friendly\, mixed-aged and inclusive practical outdoor group completing various conservation tasks in and around York. This is a great chance to learn new skills\, meet new people\, and enjoy being outdoors\, while improving green places for people and nature. \nSessions are fully guided by our Project Officers\, activities are different each session and held in different locations around York. \nAll sessions are free. No knowledge or previous experience is needed. \nJoin in\, feel good! \n15s and under must be accompanied by a guardian\, 16 – 17 year olds may attend unaccompanied but will need signed consent from their guardian. \nTo book a place a session\, please email york@tcv.org.uk. \nTransport to the location can be arranged from Tang Hall Community Centre via email if required. \nCheck out The Conservation Volunteers social media to find out locations.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a creative family workshop inspired by York’s rivers\, wildlife and changing environment. \nThrough storytelling\, imagination and performance activities\, families will explore how rivers support nature\, shape communities and contribute to a healthy future. No previous drama or performance experience is required.\nThis workshop is designed for families to participate together. SUMMARY:Fairy tales and fairy trails
DESCRIPTION:York Steiner School is partnering with York’s Foss Fairy Trail (with support from York St John’s University) to bring you a morning of magic\, music and wonder on the Foss Fairy Trail. Fairy tales will be brought to life with puppets\, you can enjoy fairy making with natural materials and live music from fiddlers to flutists will guide you along the trail.
